Warrington Colescott Warrington Colescott was born in Oakland, Ca, in 1921. He attended the University of California, Berkeley (BA, MA), The Slade School of Art, U of London, and the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris. He taught at the University of Wisconsin from 1949 and was Emeritus Professor from 1986 until his death in 2018. Known as a premier printmaker, he received numerous honors and awards. His work is characterized by its biting satire and humor, its technical accomplishments and, contributions to printmaking. His subjects are always reflective of the current socio-political atmosphere. Colescott died on September 10, 2018. ISBN: 979-8-9891705-0-0
